Saturday Science with Ms. Discovery
October 25--Magical Mysteries
Discover the science behind a magicians tricks. Learn some magic yourself before halloween. Learn a trick here and we'll give you a treat! Costumes are welcome.
November 29--Turkey Time
Learn the ins and outs of turkeys as well as other fine feathered friends. From Egg to Chick to Flight, learn how birds operate and fly south for the winter.
December 20--Worldy Holidays
Spend the morning learning how other children around the world celebrate the holidays. Spend some great craft time and take home a gift for Mom, Dad, or your Grandparents.
January 24, 1998--Deep Blue, Ocean View
What's down there? Give a stare. Join us for a look at the deep. Why is the ocean blue? How can we take better care of our largest water source? Also learn the best ways to collect shells!
February 21--Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
Transportation is a key in getting around in todays society. This class will look at current events about travel safety. Also spend time with our new train exhibit.
March 21--Searching for a Pot'o'Gold
Examine the properties of gold and other minerals in our rock lab in fun hands-on class. What are the differences between gold and 'fools gold. Come and find out!
